Following up on the success of last year’s Mole Porter, we decided to brew an imperial strength version of this English style porter, and a draft strength version as well.
We brewed one with cacao, cinnamon, and Chipotle Peppers as a 5% beer on tap and in cans to go. But we also brewed a bigger 10% Porter, aged it for 8 months in oak tequila barrels, and added Cacao, Mexican vanilla, and cinnamon, with Chipotle, Mulato, and Pasilla Negro peppers.
These are both unique and highly drinkable beers and they are both great for Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, Thanksgiving, and all through the holidays.
Don't delay! There is a fairly limited supply of the barrel aged Imperial version, and we expect them both to go very quickly!
Craft Malt Certified™ seal
This seal is designed to help bridge the “grain to glass” divide and connect local grain farming families with brewers, and their customers. A portion of malt used at Bewilder is regional sourced and locally malted at Solstice Malting Company. Doing this not only keeps more money in the local economy by supporting small businesses and farmers, but reduces the carbon footprint needed to make our delicious beer.
Brewers Association Independent Craft Brewer Seal
“Independent craft brewers continue to turn the beer industry on its head by putting community over corporation and beer before the bottom line... These small businesses give back to their backyard communities and support thousands of cities and towns across the U.S.,” said Bob Pease, president & CEO, BA.
