DESCRIPTION & TASTING NOTES:
The second installment of our rotational hop series featuring different geographical hops, this beer exemplifies some of the new world hop characteristics from typically traditional old world growing regions. This beer pours a pale golden color and bursts with a unique fruit bouquet of tangerine, guava, red fruit, and citrus. There is a firm and snappy bitterness that supports the beer, and it finishes dry with a really nice lemon/lime vibe in the finish. Very approachable and refreshing, let us know what you think!
Most® is a true sister of Jester® and Olicana®. A daughter of Cascade, crossed with a disease resistant dwarfing male. It was sent as seed to Czech in 2014 and was named after the town of Most, which means bridge in Czech. Bridge is also significant in that it is a collaboration between Charles Faram and HopSeed.
Kazbek belongs to HRI Czechia, being bred by Vladamir Nesvadba. Vladimir found some wild hops growing in the middle Caucasus mountain range, whilst hiking in Russia. He took cuttings and bred from these. Kazbek is a hybrid of Saaz crossed with a male descended from this line of wild hops. Released in 2008.
Mimosa Developed in 2019, cross between a Czech mother and a South African father. The first dwarf hop in the Czech Republic: doesn't grow higher than 3 metres.
Eleven brewed a DDH IPL with this variety.
