BEER STYLE / STATS:

Brew Lab IPA - Batch #1 - Dankle Breaker
Double IPA / 9.3% ABV, 79 IBU, 6 SRM

INGREDIENTS:
American 2-row malt, Munich malt, Pilsner malt, White Wheat, Dextrose, Chinook hops, Columbus hops, El Dorado hops, Loral hops, German lager yeast.
DESCRIPTION:
Our first high point test batch affectionately named The Danklebreaker. This big American imperial west coast IPA is heavy on hops and goes down surprisingly smooth. Clocking in at 9.3% this IPA pours a light gold color with slight haze from the big hop additions. Notes of grapefruit rind, resin, and pine dominate the aroma and palate and carry over into the finish. This beast drinks smooth for its size, so be careful. A couple deep and you could dank your brankles. This is a very small batch so hurry in! Taproom only.
HISTORY:
An American craft beer innovation first developed in the mid-late 1990s reflecting the trend of American craft brewers “pushing the envelope” to satisfy the need of hop aficionados for increasingly intense products. Became more mainstream and popular throughout the 2000s, and inspired additional IPA creativity..
